Ride With Clyde - Battling Cancer With Bennet Epperson

This is actually set up with the sole purpose of raising funds in various ways to help support Baby Ben, Jenny, Dave, and their families and friends during Ben's fight with cancer.

This blog seemed the best way for me to put all of my various efforts together in one place so that I could share them with others.

I will also try to update the blog with Bennet's condition and other news of his care and treatment as I hear it.

Today

I just wanted to post a quick update to let you all know what was happening in the world of Ben today.  Little Bennet will have what Beth and I are calling a pee test (don't know if that's what its actually called) to see if the tumor has shrunk enough to relieve the pressure on his bladder allowing him to pee on his own again.  They will also be injecting radioactive dye into his system so the doctors can track the effects of the chemo on the cancer.  They won't get the results of that test until tomorrow afternoon I think.  But if everything looks good, Bennet, Jenny, and Dave should be allowed to go home for a little while before chemo starts up again.  So think good thoughts and I'll talk to you all later.
